Get to know us!
Administrator
I am the first person you will speak with when you call our agency. I am the founder and administrator of the agency and strive to be available in the office or by cell phone at all times. My husband and I are the adoptive parents of two daughters. In September, 2006 I received the Congressional Angels in Adoption Award in recognition of my work with birth parents.
Sr. Assessor/ Birth Parent Counselor
I work directly with birth parents who contact our agency. I provide counseling and educate birth parents on the issues surrounding adoptive placement and parenting. I understand the needs and concerns which are unique to this difficult time. I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work and I have worked in the adoption field for over 20 years. My husband and I have two grown children.
Assessor
I work with prospective adoptive parents in the completion of their home studies. I also provide post placement services to these families after adoptive placement. I have a Master’s Degree in Agency and Community Counseling and a Post Master’s Endorsement in Clinical Counseling. My husband and I have two young children.
Birth Parent Counselor
I work directly with birth parents who contact our agency. I have prior experience as the ob social worker for the University Hospital Midwives Clinic so I am familiar with the issues faced by birth parents. I also have previous experience in individual and group counseling. I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work. My husband and I have two young children.
Assessor
I work with prospective adoptive parents in the completion of their home studies. I also provide post placement services to these families after adoptive placement. I have a Master’s Degree in Counseling. My husband and I have two young children.
Assessor
I am an Assessor for the agency and work specifically as a pregnancy counselor. I am also the Director and co-facilitator of our birth mother support group, GEMS. I have a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling. My husband and I have two teenaged sons.
Home Studies
I work with prospective adoptive stepparents toward the completion of their home studies. I have a Master’s Degree in School Counseling and experience with adoption recruiting and coordination. My husband and I have one young child.
Pregnancy counseling / Assessment
I provide pregnancy counseling and complete birthparent assessments for the agency. I also assist with our outreach work. I am a Licensed Social Worker and have worked for over 17 years with pregnant women. My husband and I have 2 daughters.
Paralegal
I work as the paralegal for the agency intefacing with adoptive parents in connection with their homestudies, preparing finalization documents and making court filings. I graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Communications and plan to attend law school in 2012.
